I was so sure it wasn’t going to snow anymore.

The Northeast warmed up nicely last week; the snow and ice faltered away exposing roofs, grass beds, pavements and more; i thought i could finally head out to the mall on foot this week.

But yesterday afternoon the flakes fell. They fell like a swarm of bees hard at work, swayed at times only by the strong winds.

It was an amazing sight, albeit only for about 20 minutes. The sun was glistening away while the flakes danced, and when more snow came out to play the sun shied away. I was Job-ed — awed by God’s omnipotency and presence.

::Job 9 v. 5-10::
He moves mountains without their knowing it and overturns them in his anger. He shakes the earth from its place and makes its pillars tremble. He speaks to the sun and it does not shine; he seals off the light of the stars. He alone stretches out the heavens and treads on the waves of the sea. He is the Maker of the Bear and Orion, the Pleiades and the constellations of the south. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.

Now it feels colder than when we first got in *shiver* of course, who am i kidding… it’s 5 degrees F which is around -13 degrees C?! (32 F = 0 C) According to the weatherman the cold spell’s gonna last till the end of the week.

Looks, or should i say feels, like the mall’s gotta wait.
